Granny Sam's Appalachian Herbals
Greetings from the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains!
I am a Traditional Appalachian Herbalist residing in the community of Little Switzerland, NC, along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway.
I teach herb classes, conduct herb walks privately and at the historic Altapass Orchard, and make and sell herbal products like tinctures and salves, soaps, and creams. Additionally I do private wellness consults for both people and their pets, and I teach pet owners how to design and prepare custom diets for their pets.
I work closely with the herbs and plants native to Appalachia, studying them closely and learning all I can so that I can apply that knowledge to best suit my community's needs.
This spring I will also be teaching classes at the Appalachia School of Holistic Herbalism on Herbs for Pets and Natural Diets for Pets. For additional info and to register for those classes contact the School at the link above.
